Through a history steeped in tradition, Progressive Barge Line, Inc. once again is demonstrating its commitment to better serve customers’ needs by enhancing our fleet with two new pieces of equipment.

 

On October 1, 2007 Progressive Barge Line, Inc. began construction on a state-of-the-art 2400 HP push boat, M/V Old Glory. The M/V Old Glory will be 75’X28’ with a 35ft eye level, making it the tallest boat in our fleet. Equipped with the latest in satellite technology. The M/V Old Glory will be turning heads along the Mighty Mississippi. Expected completion date is April 2008.

 

Starting the new year off with a bang, Progressive Barge Line, Inc. purchased a 25,000 bbl barge on January 10, 2008. The PBL 2410 is currently undergoing extensive renovations transforming into a Vapor Recovery and Heated Oil barge. We are looking forward to filling her up in June of this year.
