Through a history steeped in tradition, Progressive Barge Line, Inc. once again is demonstrating its commitment to better serve customers’ needs by enhancing our Fleet in 2013. Our Bunker Fleet will grow by two new pieces of equipment and one new piece of equipment to our Linehaul Fleet.

 

In January 2013, Progressive Barge Line, Inc. purchased a new boat from Eymard Marine Construction and Repair, Inc. The UNCLE SAM, a 2000 horsepower pushboat will join our bunker fleet.

 

In late January 2013, Raymond & Associates, LLC will deliver one new 30,000 bbl barge, PBL 3421, to our fleet of Vapor Recovery and Heated Oil barges and be working in Bunkers. The PBL 3421 has segregated pumps and compartments to handle 3 different products.  We are anticipating many years of great service from this barge. Time to fill her up!

 

In April 2013, Progressive Barge Line, Inc. is looking forward to the launching of another new 30,000 bbls barge to the PBL Linehaul Fleet. The PBL 3422 is currently under construction at Raymond & Associates, LLC in Bayou La Batre, AL and will be joining our fleet of Vapor Recovery and Heated Oil barges.
